 Management

Graph It! Use Graph It! to help create a culture where students recognize that each student has strengths and weaknesses.  A great way to begin the year and great to post in classrooms.  You might also want to demonstrate this with parents to represent why differentiation is important for students.

Anchor Activities-Elementary and Anchor Activity Ideas  Anchor activities can provide students who finish quickly or who have questions when you can't get to them somethng to do.
They can also be used at the start of class to anchor students in their seats while you take roll and prepare for class.  Some teachers make copies of brain teasers, word searches, coordinate grids, etc. and place them in folders that are stored in milk crates.  Students can then select activities to work on.  Anchor activities should not be graded.

 WebQuests

Wild About WebQuests--WebQuests are a wonderful way to integrate technology into your classroom.  WebQuests are electronic performance tasks that ask students take on rolls, to participate in real world activities, and to produce products.
