Trussville City Schools and Samford University’s Graduate School of Education maintain a collaborative relationship in support of our teachers and administrators through two advanced degree cohorts.  The emphasis of the cohorts is to provide quality learning opportunities for TCS teachers that will result in our students learning at even higher levels.  The cohorts include a Master’s degree in Gifted Education and an Education Specialist’s degree in Educational Leadership.  Many of the classes are offered on TCS’s campuses and are taught by Samford University staff.
