Kristi Stacks has been teaching for 15 years. She holds degrees from Auburn University, University of Alabama, Birmingham and the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Mrs. Stacks has also earned her National Board certification for professional teachers.
Before Mrs. Stacks was a teacher, she worked in the fields of television and radio. She was a radio disc jockey and news director in Auburn, and a television producer/director in Columbus, Georgia. Her television career actually began at the age of 12 when she was selected as an anchor for the news show Kidsworld 13 here in Birmingham.
Mrs. Stacks is married and has three children – Eryn, Cameron and Thomas. When she is not at school, Mrs. Stacks likes to spend time with her children and travel.
