My journey to becoming a teacher has been an incredible learning experience involving moments of apprehension combined with accomplishment. Through classroom instruction, personal and clinical experience, observation, and reflection, I have found three criteria that I believe will make me an educator of high quality. First, I will provide my students an enriched and safe learning environment. Second, I will have high expectations for my students’ learning. Third, I will allow students an opportunity to learn life skills while developing personal beliefs and character. These three criteria combined will make my students highly accomplished learners and me a highly qualified teacher. |
