Chris Byars earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree at the University of Montevallo.
He earned his Master of Music Education degree at the University of Louisville.
He has been teaching and performing music in the Birmingham area for over twenty years. In addition to teaching at Paine Intermediate School, he currently plays drums with "The Chris Yarbrough Group" a local jazz trio.
His lovely wife Heather is a piano teacher in Vestavia Hills and they have a beautiful daughter Anabel.
