Ways to get involved and offer input...

Principal Chats: Each school offers a time for parents to come and listen to principals share current topics and concerns related to their school. These are offered multiple times during the school year. Visit your school's website to see the schedule.

PTA/PTO Meetings: All schools host parent involvement meetings. Visit your school's site to see the schedule.

Sign up to receive newsletters: The district sends out a weekly e-newsletter highlighting news from each school. You may sign up to receive the newsletter by clicking here.

Participate in surveys: Twice a year the district will send out a link to parents via our distribution list. Surveys are hosted by SurveyMonkey and are anonymous. All surveys are followed up with a "We Heard You" communication piece highlighting results and concerns addressed by each school's principal.

Neighborhoood Meetings: Since our system's inception neighborhood meetings have proven to be insightful and valuable times for stakeholders to talk informally with the superintendent. If you would like to host a neighborhood meeting or have the superintendent attend your neighorhood association meeting, please email sandra.vernon@trussvillecityschools.com
