Mrs. Kelley Shirley
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University in 1999 and Master of Communication Disorders degree in 2000. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as state certification through the Alabama Board of Examiners of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA). I am a current member of the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama (SHAA).
My professional experience began in 2000 at Chidren's Hospital where I served as an out-patient SLP. Since that time, I have served in both clinical and educational settings. These experiences also include Educational Director at Mitchell's Place, Inc. and sole proprietor of Littles Speech, LLC. My job at HTMS and HTHS involves working with students who have been identified with speech and/or language disorders and collaborating with other educators to assist with facilitation of increased growth in areas of communication.
