I am proud to be a husky!  I attended Chalkville Elementary, Hewitt Middle School, Hewitt Junior High, and graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School in 1995. This year marks my 21st year of teaching!

I attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I earned my bachelors degree in social science-secondary education. I began my teaching career at Shades Valley High School, but always dreamed of teaching at my alma mater.  I got that chance in 2004 when Trussville City Schools began.  I love HTMS and I love being a husky. During my time at HTMS I also earned my masters in secondary education.

I truly enjoy teaching civics and geography and watching my students learn that they can truly make a difference in their community and world.
