Mrs. Kelly Till
I grew up in the beautiful mountians of Dahlonega, Georgia. I majored in chemistry (and minored in fine art!) at the University of North Georgia before completing a master's of education and moving to Birmingham in 2009. I was very lucky that my first job interview was at Hewitt-Trussville High School and I have been here ever since. I now live in Trussville with my husband and 3 step-children. In my free time I enjoy obsessing over my boxer, Ruby, painting watercolors, cooking, reading, working out, and watching reality TV. I do not enjoy watching any college football games ;)
Supplies for Mrs. Till’s Chemistry Class
Because you pay a fee for this class I try to keep materials to a minimum. In fact, there are only a couple things I recommend but do not require:
- A composition notebook for labs and activities (I have lots of leftovers from previous years you can have to repurpose)
- A regular notebook for taking notes
- Some divider/folders for loose papers
- A pencil
You do NOT need a special calculator for this class! I have a class set and you will find it easiest to use those, as I will teach you a lot of functions on those calculators that come in handy throughout the year.
I have one special request and that is PAPER TOWELS. I can’t but those with fee money and as you can imagine cleaning up a chemistry lab can be messy. Thank you!
