  • Savanna School District

    Make- up picture day has been scheduled for November 3rd in the small gym. The photographers will be set up 2-4th period or 9 am – 11am for virtual students and staff and then during husky hour for any students who missed picture day the first go around.


    Also Last chance Senior Portraits ( tux and drape & cap and gown )

    Nov 8th at principal portraits group from 1-4pm.

    This is the last chance to get these taken for the yearbook.

  • 9 Week Mid-Term Grades

    The 9 week mid-term grades will be available for view in iNow on Friday, Oct.16th  @ 4pm.  

    Please remember this is not the student’s final grade, as HTHS operates on semesters and grades will be final at the end of the semester in December.

  • Daily Announcements


    • Looking for a fun volunteer opportunity?  Trussville Parks & Rec needs your help with this year’s Halloween Zombie 5K on Oct. 24.  Dress up in costumes to scare the runners, take photos, or just help point people in the right direction.  Free t-shirt.  Free snacks.  Service Hours.  Sign up starting today outside the library and school store.


    • HTHS Matmaids 2020-2021: Anyone interested in applying to be a Matmaid should pick up an application from Coach Pike’s classroom (A229). Applications and teacher recommendation forms must be returned to the OFFICE by Friday, October 23.


    • Tryouts for the guys and girls varsity tennis team will begin on Tuesday, November 17th at the Trussville Racquet Club. Tryouts will begin at 3:30. Please see Coach Higginbotham for more details if you are planning on trying out for a spot on this year’s team.

  • Attention AP Students and Parents,


    Welcome to a new and exciting school year and thank you for choosing to take an Advanced Placement course.  The final order deadline for all AP exams is Friday November 13, 2020.  There is a two part process for AP exam ordering this year.


    1. Students must join each AP course using their class join code (see teacher for join codes)
    2. Fees must be paid by Friday November 13th to order your AP exam


    A $40 late order fee must be applied to all payments received after our November 13th final ordering deadline. 


    Please make payments and join your classes ASAP.

    Sophomores-Seniors with a valid Alabama driver's license (no learner’s permits accepted) may apply for a parking decal.  All students who park on campus must display a current decal on their windshield.

    Parking spaces are not assigned until:

    1. You have completed your school registration online and completed the parking decal application which requires a copy of the student's current Alabama driver's license be emailed to our front office assistant.
    2. Your school registration is verified by the BOE
    3. You pay the parking/drug testing fee.  Online payment is preferred as the HTHS school office not currently open to the public due to COVID19 restrictions.       Click here for online payment with a debit or credit card:  https://trussvilleal.csiepay.com/. If online payment is not an option, you can come by HTHS and leave a check in the drop box by the front doors. Please place your check in an envelope with the student’s name and “parking decal payment” written on the outside.

    Parking Fees  

    $40 - Parking Decal

    $15 - Drug Testing Fee (You do not have to pay this fee twice.  If you've already paid your drug testing fee for the year in order to participate in athletics, band, etc., please do not pay again) 

    Parking decals will be mailed to students prior to the first day of school.  When school is in session, students can pick up their parking decal from the front office.

     Quick Reference Step by Step

    Step 1:  Complete your registration for next school year including fully completing the parking application which requires an uploaded copy of the student's driver's license

    Step 2:  Your registration will be verified by the board of education

    Step 3:  Pay your parking and drug testing fee

    Step 4:  Decals will be assigned and mailed to the student prior to the first day of school or if school is in session, student may pick up decal from the front office.
