Hello Trussville Families,
In January 2025, our schools will be transitioning to Circool as our district-wide visitor management program. This is another measure to assure the parents, guardians, and the community that the system is working diligently to provide a safe and secure environment for TCS students and staff. When you need to enter our school beyond the atrium, you will check-in at the front desk, present your Circool QR Code and receive a name badge.
Why Circool? Many of our schools have been using Circool when we host events, now Circool will also be used for individual entry, reunification and soon many other applications. We recognize the need for fewer, more integrated applications, not only to enhance school safety but also to streamline your experience.

Used Circool Before?
If you’ve used Circool already, there is nothing new for you to do. We do recommend that you add the Circool icon to your phone. Here’s how:
○ From your phone, go to https://trussvillecs.circool.com/
○ Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up).
○ Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen."
○ Tap "Add."

New to Circool?
Please make sure your contact information is correct in PowerSchool! Circool syncs with PowerSchool to make setting up your account easier. You can review your information here: https://trussvillecs.powerschool.com/public/
Next week, you will receive an email to activate your Circool account. The subject line will read “Trussville City Schools invites you to Circool”. Please watch out for it. Follow the instructions in that email.

How to use Circool when entering the school:
1. Click the Circool icon on your phone or go to https://trussvillecs.circool.com/
2. Click your Visitor QR badge
3. Show your Visitor Badge QR Code to the camera
4. Your name badge will print.
