Hewitt-Trussville High School Ranked Among Nation's Best

(TCS) - Hewitt-Trussville High School has ranked 20th among all Alabama high schools and #1,694 among all high schools across America in the 2021 U.S. News & World Report Best Schools Rankings.  The rankings take a number of factors into account, including Advanced Placement® (AP) coursework and exams, college readiness, college curriculum breadth, math proficiencies, reading proficiencies, graduation rate, and more. 


The overall score earned by Hewitt-Trussville High School for the 2021 rankings is 90.51.  The ranking is based on data from the 2018-2019 School Year.  It is important to note that this ranking by U.S. News and World Report is but one way to measure a school’s performance.


Hewitt-Trussville High School educates nearly 1,600 students in grades 9-12 on a large, suburban campus on the banks of the Cahaba River in northeast Jefferson County.  The four-year, public high school consistently earns high marks for its award-winning faculty, staff, and students.  Hewitt-Trussville High School was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2020 by the United States Department of Education.  See more data on Hewitt-Trussville High School and information on the U.S. News & World Report rankings
