HTHS - Hewitt-Trussville High School students continue to shine at the Academy of Craft Training (ACT).

Zayden Davis and Ryan Carr were selected as ACT’s March/April Employee of the Month for Building Construction and HVAC. They scored the highest based on ACT’s employability scale.

McKinlee Lewis was selected as February's Employee of the Month for Building Construction. He scored the highest score based ACT’s employability scale.

All employees of the month receive special, on-site recognition and gifts from ACT industry partners.

With a capacity of 250 students, the Academy of Craft Training is a public/private partnership between the commercial construction industry and the State of Alabama’s K-12 Career and Technical Education System.  Its mission is to recruit, educate and guide high school students for educational and employment opportunities in the construction industry.
