TCS - Initial enrollment and attendance snapshots indicate growth across Trussville City Schools for the start of the 2021-2022 School Year. As of the week of August 30-Sept 3, there are 4,947 students in PreK-12. This represents a 15% growth in enrollment since 2010 - and falls in line with new Census data that shows brisk growth for the City of Trussville.

Trussville is now positioned among the state's fastest growing cities with a 31% growth rate from the 2010 Census to the 2020 Census.

"We are working in step with the city council and the mayor to be sure Trussville City Schools attributes to the growth and the needs of this outstanding city," Superintendent Dr. Pattie Neill said.

All school systems submit official enrollment counts to the Alabama State Department of Education on the 20th school day following Labor Day.  Called the "20-Day Count," the snapshot tracks ADM (average daily membership) and becomes a basis for state funding.
