Parking Decal Registration and Payment for Sophomores with Valid AL Driver's License


Sophomores-Seniors with a valid Alabama driver's license (no learner’s permits accepted) may apply for a parking decal.  All students who park on campus must display a current decal on their windshield.

Parking spaces are not assigned until:

  1. You have completed your school registration online and completed the parking decal application which requires a copy of the student's current Alabama driver's license be emailed to our front office assistant.
  2. Your school registration is verified by the BOE
  3. You pay the parking/drug testing fee.  Online payment is preferred as the HTHS school office not currently open to the public due to COVID19 restrictions.       Click here for online payment with a debit or credit card: If online payment is not an option, you can come by HTHS and leave a check in the drop box by the front doors. Please place your check in an envelope with the student’s name and “parking decal payment” written on the outside.

Parking Fees  

$40 - Parking Decal

$15 - Drug Testing Fee (You do not have to pay this fee twice.  If you've already paid your drug testing fee for the year in order to participate in athletics, band, etc., please do not pay again) 

Parking decals will be mailed to students prior to the first day of school.  When school is in session, students can pick up their parking decal from the front office.

 Quick Reference Step by Step

Step 1:  Complete your registration for next school year including fully completing the parking application which requires an uploaded copy of the student's driver's license

Step 2:  Your registration will be verified by the board of education

Step 3:  Pay your parking and drug testing fee

Step 4:  Decals will be assigned and mailed to the student prior to the first day of school or if school is in session, student may pick up decal from the front office.
