 Welcome

Welcome to Hewitt-Trussville Middle School.  Information on the web site will be updated regularly.  Please visit often to know what is going on at HTMS!

 Important Registration Information!!!!

It is hard to believe that this year is coming to an end. In preparation for the upcoming school year, our online registration process has been redesigned and is now available through May 31.  Please complete your student’s online registration by going to: www.trussvillecityschools.com.   Click on:  Trussville City Schools Online Registration to begin the process.  You will need to login using: tcs\studentfirstname.lastnamegraduationyear (maximum of 24 characters allowed--drop items off the end) and your student’s password. (This is the same password used by student to access school computers and teacher sites.)  Select Hewitt-Trussville Middle School in the drop down box.  Log in again (dropping off tcs\), review all information and make any changes in your child’s information.  When you are finished, you must print out the last page, sign it and return it to the main office by Tuesday, June 1, 2008.  If you experience any problems with online registration, please contact the school at 228-3711 or 228-3712.

Our summer registration will take place on Wednesday, July 23 and Thursday, July 24, 2008.

                                                 8th Grade – July 23     8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

                                                 7th Grade -  July 23    2:00 p.m. –  6:00 p.m.

                                                 6th Grade – July 24     8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

If you have not completed the online registration process you will not be able to register.   Items you must bring to summer registration are:

·         Copy of current ALABAMA POWER bill and one other utility bill, excluding cell phone bills.  These bills must be current without a “disconnect” notice and must include the lower portion of the bill that shows name and service address.  Students who do not have two utility bills will not be allowed to register.

·         Deed to your home, bona fide lease, or current tax card showing the same name and address as the utility and power bills.  (If you have a lease, it must have a beginning and ending date.)  This is a policy implemented by the Trussville Board of Education beginning the 2005 school year for both returning and new students.  Students who do not have this information will not be allowed to register.

·         Copy of current Alabama driver’s license of the student’s legal guardian.

Attention Parents of Upcoming Sixth Graders

You are invited to an open house on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:30 P.M. in the HTMS gymnasium.  This is an opportunity to get acquainted with the campus of HTMS and answer any questions you may have at this time.
