My name is Heather Findley and I have over 19 years of teaching experiance. This school year will mark the beginning of my fourth year being a part of the amazing Paine Elementary family.  I took a few years off with my kids and was a substitute for two years in the Trussville School System, before working full time at Paine Elementary.  I have taught 2nd grade for the last 3 years at Paine, and will be back in kindergarten this year.  Prior to coming to Paine I taught kindergarten for 10 years at a local christian school, and I am extreamly excited to be returning to my first LOVE of teaching kindergarten. 

A little information about my family:

I have been married to my husband, Ken for 25 years.  We have 4 children, the first of which was born on our 3rd anniversary.  My oldest daughter, Chandler will be moving to Arkansas in August, to attend graduate school at the University of Arkansas.  My oldest son, Dalton is a freshman at UAB.  My 10 year old son, Barrett is at Magnolia in fifth grade and my baby girl, Annalise is 4 years old and will be attending Noah's Park.  When I have free time I love to read, smock (a type of hand sewing) for Annalise and spend time with my family.
