The Hewitt-Trussville High School Band Program has earned numerous awards and accolades over its multi-decade existence.  This includes consistent superior ratings at the yearly Alabama Bandmasters Music Performance Assessment.  The number of students chosen for the District IV Honor Band and All-State Band grows each school year.  During the 2020-2021 school year, there were 10 HTHS band members selected for All-State Band, 12 selected for District IV Honor Band, 5 selected for All-State Orchestra, and 5 selected for All-State Jazz Band.  We also had 7 members of the HTHS Band who submitted entries to the ABA Allstate Solo Festival, and 3 of those students made it to the finals.
